Client:

Build It Up Construction specializes predominantlyl in home renovation.

Challenge:

The Toronto real estate market is very strong and has been for years. Buyng larger homes is very expensive compared to raising the roof on a smaller house - so this is what they wanted to promote.

Solution:

The owner decided to hire an actress known for a show she takes part in on HGTV. I came up with an idea for a video and wrote the script. The target audience were small home owners in the east end of Toronto who can't afford a bigger house near by but could consider putting a second floor on their bungalow. The video begins the process by which they find out what is viable - the little houses built in the 50s are usually sturdy enough to take a second floor.
